There I Wuz!

"You won't want to put down THE LAST BUSH PILOTS while the midnight sun still shines!"
--Airways Magazine
TOP 100 - MAINSTREAM FICTION - AMAZON BREAKTHROUGH NOVELS 2013!
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Eric Auxier is a pilot by day, writer by night, and kid by choice.
In his latest book series, "There I Wuz!," Mr. Auxier--aka "Cap'n Aux" (capnaux.com)--takes us on a wild ride in the sky. From his feet first leaving terra firma as a daring (make that foolish) young teen in a
hang glider, to his head-first dive as a young bush pilot in the wilds of Alaska; from dodging hurricanes in the Caribbean to an explosive decompression in a heavy airliner, Mr. Auxier puts you in the cockpit with him on an adventure spanning over 3 decades and 20,000 hours in the sky. What makes this series more remarkable is that (nearly) every tale is true.
In his second novel, Mr. Auxier brings his former Alaska bush flying to life in, "The Last Bush Pilots." Now available in print or ebook on Amazon, "The Last Bush Pilots" follows two young pilots, Daniel "DC" Alva and Allen Foley. To jumpstart their fledgeling airline careers, they risk everything to take on the world's most dangerous flying: the Alaska bush. But Mother Nature--and a sexy Native Alaskan--stand in their way. Can the two "cheechackos" survive Her relentless onslaught?

The award-winning Code Name: Dodger is his first novel; he is currently working on two new novels, "Cartel Kidnapping," a sequel to "Code Name: Dodger," and a new series entitled, "There I Wuz! Adventures From 3 Decades in the Sky," a collection of true tales from his various publications.

Never one to believe in working for a living, Mr. Auxier's past list of occupations include: Alaska bush pilot, freelance writer, mural artist, and pilot for a Caribbean seaplane operation.
He is now a captain for a major airline.

When Eric was asked why he wrote this book, he said,

"From the age of 5, I’ve always had two passions: flying and writing. While the aviation career isn’t for everybody, it always makes for a good story. Life is an adventure, and life in the sky, exponentially so. I feel blessed to have lived more adventures than most, and that’s why I started my blog, Adventures of Cap’n Aux (capnaux.com)

There I Wuz! Adventures From 3 Decades in the Sky is a collection of the best of them, as well as others shared in various magazines such as Airways, Plane & Pilot, and NYCAviation.com

Mr. Auxier has contributed to such publications as Arizona Highways, Airways Magazine, Plane & Pilot and AOPA Pilot. He is a graduate of Arizona State University (B.S. degree in Aeronautical Technology) and Cochise College (A.S. degree in Pro-Pilot). At both institutions, he worked as a newspaper editor, staff reporter and columnist.

He is currently a regular contributor to Airways Magazine and a columnist at NYCAviation.com. His blog, ADVENTURES OF CAP'N AUX (capnaux.com) is read by thousands worldwide.

Father of two, Mr. Auxier makes his home in Phoenix, Arizona.
